The Supreme Court’s decision, therefore, was to allow the appeals, fixing the market value at Rs. 65 per square yard. Additionally, the appellants were entitled to all statutory benefits associated with the compensation for land acquisition. The Court made it clear that no further proceedings were necessary, as the matter had already been definitively settled.

In conclusion, the Supreme Court emphasized that the finality of the market value determination, along with the statutory benefits, rendered the remand of the matter unnecessary.
